Macbeth Full Plot Summary (Animated)
I need your help.
I need your advice. Videos like this take about 20 hours to script, narrate, record and edit. So, I really need to get better at it to make the work worthwhile.
You can jump straight to the video here, if you are impatient:
I’ve written the script in rhyming couplets - it is more fun for me and, in theory at least, more memorable for you.
If you like it, please share it with someone who will be willing to give advice.
I’ve taken lots of advice from many of you who watched my last animated summary of Jekyll and Hyde:
Your advice was:
The couplets are great, but are they too much for students? Can you compress less?
The animation works, but the editing is very quick - can you slow it down?
Does it have to be so gory?
It would be way more useful if the couplets included actual quotes so student would revise these as well as the story.
AI destroys the human connection. Be more human.
What I’ve done:
I’ve included many quotes, which made writing the couplets more fun for me, but the script is longer for you. 8 minutes Jekyll and Hyde, vs 14 minutes for Macbeth. Will people watch?
Macbeth is a bloody play! But, I’ve tried to make it an aspect of colour rather than violence. Symbolism and drops. Hope this works!
I’ve narrated the script in ways I hope are both dramatic and playful. It should sound very human - whether this is a human you want to spend time with, well, let me know!
What You Can Do For Me
Watch it.
Give me any advice. (Praise is also nice - but not part of the deal).
I’ve kept the video unlisted on YouTube, so only people I’ve invited can find it. This is not a way for me to gain views. It is a way for me to improve. Thank you for helping me do so!

Great idea - my only concern is that students may confuse your words with the quotes.
